Case of Study: Time & Attendance detection in a metalworking company in the province of Milan

The customer needed to detect attendance in a simple way taking into account the type of work, and to avoid any identity confusion, the biometric method was immediately taken into consideration.

Our proposal took into account the inappropriateness of fingerprint recognition, a method that assumes perfectly clean fingers and therefore more suitable for a non-productive reality.

In particular, we have suggested these 3 models which basically have in common the possibility of clocking with the face (even if hidden by a mask) and with the ability to recognize clocking also made with the badge. This last thing is very useful if you want to track a visitor.

These differ mainly in the recognition distance of the employee, in the possibility of reading badges with Rfid and/or Mifare format and in the possibility of being able to be used indoors or even outdoors.

The choice fell on Facedeep 3 which, in addition to the aforementioned characteristics, has a larger screen and recognizes the face even at 3 meters.

For privacy purposes, we remind you that the face as in the case of the fingerprint are data that are converted into a numerical template encrypted by a proprietary algorithm and therefore unusable as information for any third party buyers.
