Case study concerning an insurance company based in the province of Milan.

It was decided to implement an employee attendance monitoring system based on the use of fingerprints.

This system will make it possible to register the entry and exit of employees in a more efficient and precise way, eliminating the need for paper cards or electronic badges.

The fingerprint control system will be able to uniquely identify each employee and store attendance information in a centralized database, accessible only to company managers.

The project was started with the aim of improving the flexibility and ease of recording employees' working hours, increasing the speed and efficiency of this process, as well as the convenience also on the part of the employee himself.

The technology used for fingerprint detection will ensure maximum security of stored data, and will ensure that they will not be compromised by any unauthorized access.

Specifically, the fingerprint is acquired and converted into a numerical template so that the data is unusable both by the company and by third parties interested in the acquisition, for example for commercial purposes.

In summary, the insurance company decided to implement a fingerprint-based employee attendance tracking system to increase the accuracy and efficiency of time recording and improve data security.

The device chosen for this purpose is EP300 BT-WiFI which in any case maintains the possibility of accessing also with a badge, in the event of having to keep track of the presence of visitors, of whom we naturally cannot
have their fingerprint registered a priori.
